The Make it Work programme provides hands-on practice to build a viable business from the ground up. It’s tailored for parents who are currently the primary parent of their child(ren), guided and supported by experienced entrepreneurship facilitators.
Over 6 weeks of Term 4 (during school hours), teams of would-be parentpreneurs will learn tools and techniques to identify customer problems-to-solve, develop business ideas, build and test business models. We’ll celebrate this huge achievement with a “pitch party” that’ll give you some practice in attracting buy-in from audiences that matter, and expert feedback to help you move forward.
You DO NOT have to have an idea or any previous business skills to participate. Nor will anyone be left behind due to unforeseen circumstances – this is for parents, by parents, to accommodate and support the realities of parenting.
Morning tea provided, and childcare will also be available for a small fee during the workshops.
